Here are some ways to get the most out of your membership.

keep your directory listing updated

Our online member directory features

  • an image (preferably you in front of your work, but can be of your work only)

  • a short bio (100-150 words)

  • a link to your website

To update your bio, sign in to your account and update the picture, bio, and website link on your profile. Please note that changes take about 24 hours to appear on the website.

APPLY FOR A SHOW IN OUR NEW PROJECT SPACE IN EQUITY GALLERY

A few details:

  • The Project Space is suited for displaying 5-7 works, each no larger than 36” in a side (including frames).

  • Shows in the Project Space will be planned 3-6 months in advance.

  • Each show will be up in the gallery for approximately 3 weeks.

  • You do not have to apply as soon as you become eligible; the diamond anniversary membership is a lifetime membership. We urge you to use your judgement about when you have a body of work ready to show.

To apply, send the following materials to info@artistsequity.org

  • Images of up to 10 works.

    • Each work can be no larger than 36” on its longest side, including frame.

    • We will choose 5-7 works for the exhibition.

  • A brief artist statement about this body of work.

  • Please use the subject line DIAMOND ANNIVERSARY MEMBER PROJECT SPACE APPLICATION

  • Please don’t forget the subject line! We get a lot of emails.

Submit to the MOnthly Member Rundown

If you have any events, opening receptions, projects, or other information you’d like to share, please send the following information to members@nyartistsequity.org for the Monthly Member Run-Down:

  • A brief description of a event or project (no more than three sentences, please)

  • Information where the event will take place and one representational image for the event. As the association continues to invest and develop its online e-commerce, content management and third party partnerships, we request that you refrain from including outbound links and logos in your listing.

  • Social distancing guidelines for attending the event (if applicable)

  • Please keep in mind that there will be 1-10 member posts per listing, which will be selected on a first come, first serve basis. There is a 2 listings-per-artist maximum.

  • We will announce submission dates on our Facebook Group and Private Member Google Group.
