In Neuralink DIY, artist and neuroscientist Pablo Garcia-Lopez presents work informed by histories of neuroscience, philosophy, ethics, and culture.
Silk, a by-product of organic metamorphosis, is cast into sculptural parts or knotted and twisted into double helixes and rope-like structures to present dense wall reliefs. Seemingly born of an alien intelligence, and overabundant to the point of collapse, these works signal saltation, hopeful monsters and apocryphal visions.

Reading Trees

In Reading Trees, Matthew López-Jensen, a Bronx-based interdisciplinary environmental artist, celebrates his ongoing work with New York City street trees and his recent publication New York City Street Tree Tarot (Verlag Kettler). The exhibition will feature large-scale prints from the 78-card deck, which gathers scenes of environmental resilience and stewardship for reflection, education, and divination.
Through his creative engagement with the natural world, López-Jensen reimagines the mythic tree of knowledge as a conduit for personal transformation, inspiring individual action and a larger cultural reckoning with climate change.

Baris Gokturk

In Gunetre II, Baris Gokturk extends his Shapeshifter body of work with a site-specific installation for Equity Gallery’s courtyard. Deconstructed, layered, and rebuilt into a new form, the work feels vaguely familiar while resisting easy definition.
Through experimental, multilayered processes, Gokturk creates densely coded, ambiguous works that linger between drawing, painting, and sculpture. Giving new form to found objects, existing artworks, and paint skins on surfaces, these creations loosen predetermined definitions and adapt and reform in response to the environments they inhabit.

Peter Bonner
Most recently, Peter Bonner has exhibited at the Anita Shapolsky Gallery and teaches at the Art Students League and the New York School of the Arts (formerly the National Academy of Design). Bonner is a Rose level NYAE artist member, and he was a peer juror for the 2026 NYAE Members Invitational. He will be presenting a solo exhibition at Equity Gallery in the spring of 2027.
