TRANSCENDER
NYAE is excited to announce the continuation of the artists’ critique group that originally ran in Bushwick and reprised at NYAE in fall 2023. Sessions will be presented in person at Equity Gallery, 245 Broome St. NYC. Sherilyn Neidhardt will be returning as the key host and point person for the series. The critique format will adhere to previous models whereby the artist narrates a 10-image, nine minute, PowerPoint presentation of their work to a live audience followed by a five minute audience Q&A. All media are welcome so long as works are clearly represented in still images.
How to apply
Interested participants need to send an email with a single paragraph artist statement and five – seven images to info@nyartistsequity.org with the subject line “transcender application” The next Transcender is Jan 22nd, Applications are due Mon. Jan 20th.
